Preventive Maintenance

 

Thank you for your interest in our Preventive Maintenance Program.  We have put together a few pages to better help you understand our goals in maintaining your equipment.  Most every restaurant we speak with never touch there equipment until it breaks down, but they can't understand why there stores are so far over budget on service???  We have seen over a number of years that a very large percentage of Refrigeration or HVAC equipment break downs,  come from lack of regular maintenance.  Think about it, how well would your car run if you never changed the oil in it???  Refrigeration and HVAC equipment is a very big asset for any restaurant and to not maintain it is a big mistake.  Quality Refrigeration Concepts has put together a program that is specifically designed to minimize potential problems by early detection, and to extend the life of every piece of equipment.  Our technicians are trained to catch small problems that will escalate into bigger problems later (if your car motor is ticking and you never do anything to it, more than likely you will have an even bigger problem later).  QRC has put together a store specific checklist.  This checklist is designed to check all the working components of the equipment being serviced.  It assures our customers the same high level of service for each and every visit.  Thank you for giving QRC an opportunity to prove our program will work for you.

 

Ÿ       Because of today's astronomical freon prices, freon leaks are a major threat in the workings of any refrigeration or HVAC unit.

 

Ÿ       Freon Leaks most often occur in a refrigeration system because of:

 

1.    Excessive High Pressure

2.    Excessive Vibration

3.    High Motor Torque at Motor Start Up

4.    Excessive Heat

 

All the above are symptoms of a unit that has not been properly or regularly serviced.

 

With Regular Preventive Maintenance the above potential problems can be eliminated.
